Sam Bahadur will be available on ZEE5 for a digital premiere in January 2024. The streaming platform has yet to declare a rollout date. Meghna Gulzar’s film has been a fan favorite among those who enjoy war and historical films.
Cast of Sam Bahadur:
Vicky Kaushal plays the protagonist, with Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra playing supporting parts. Vicky Kaushal portrays the charismatic war hero Sam Manekshaw, demonstrating the character’s complexities and bravery. Fatima Sana Shaikh, on the other hand, beautifully turns into the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film, while Sanya Malhotra plays Silloo, Sam’s wife.
Sam Bahadur is a conflict drama based on the life of Sam Manekshaw, India’s first Field Marshal. The film delves deeply into the life of this renowned military officer. The story was co-written by Meghna Gulzar, Bhavani Iyer, and Shantanu Srivastava, and the film was produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the RSVP Movies label.
