This year’s Sankranti/Pongal is rapidly approaching, and a lot of movies are preparing for their holiday premieres. Prior to its later postponement, the Ravi Teja film Eagle was also supposed to hit theaters on Sankranti.
Eagle will now be released in theaters on February 9th, 2024, according to the creators, who made this announcement since many other well-known movies will also be hitting theaters on that day in the past.

Why did Ravi Teja’s Eagle get a new release date?
In a statement announcing the film’s postponement, the producers stated that they want to release the movie when it would be most well-received by the public, taking into account the busy box office schedule for the upcoming days. Additionally, they stated that the postponement will be beneficial in recognizing the director and creative team for their hard work.
Next week marks the arrival of the Sankranti and Pongal holidays, coinciding with the release of several Telugu and Tamil blockbusters. Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, which is helmed by Trivikram Srinivas and is reportedly a masala entertainment film, is one of the major releases in Telugu. It is the superstar’s 28th film overall, following the release of Sarkaru Vaari Paata in 2022.
Additionally, this year marks Venkatesh Daggubati’s Sankranti release with his film Saindhav, which is helmed by HIT film series star Sailesh Kolanu. Arya, Andrea Jeremiah, Nawazudin Siddiqui, Shraddha Srinath, and many more performers make up the ensemble cast of the movie.
When it comes to the Pongal releases, Arun Matheswaran’s action picture Captain Miller, starring Dhanush, is finally making its big screen debut. The film is reportedly violent and action-packed, much like the director’s earlier works, Rocky and Saani Kaayidam.
In addition to them is Sivakarthikeyan’s eagerly anticipated science fiction movie Ayalaan, which has been in production for a long time due to the special effects required to portray the film’s primary character, an alien. The trailer for the movie is scheduled to debut on January 5, 2023.

Anupama Parameswaran, Navdeep, Kavya Thapar, Srinivas Avasarala, Madhoo, and several more have important parts in the movie as well.
The movie, whose soundtrack was composed by Davzand, is scheduled to open in theaters on February 9 of this year.
