The Village, a brand-new horror series starring “Sarpatta Parambarai” actor Arya, is released today, i.e., November 24, on Amazon Prime. This Tamil web series will also be available in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
The series has six episodes. The story is based on a graphic horror novel called The Village by Asvin Srivatsangam, Vivek Rangachari, and Shamik Dasgupta, initially published by Yali Dream Creations. The series’ main characters are Pooja Ramachandran, Divya Pillai, George Maryan, Baby Aazhiya, John Kokken, and Arya.
Milind Rau is the director of the horror web series best known for directing Nayanthara-starrer 2021 hit ‘Netrikann’, which draws inspiration from the same-titled graphic horror novel. In an effort to save his family, the horror series’ lead embarks on a frightening rescue mission.
The Village Tamil Series Synopsis:
While traveling from Nagapattinam to Chennai, Dr. Gautham Subramanian and his family—his wife, Neha, and daughter, Maya—have a car breakdown in the abandoned village of Kattiyal. But when Gautham asks about assistance, he discovers that the settlement is inhabited by monsters and spirits that are hungry for blood. Is he able to free the hamlet from this darkness and save his family from the rising danger?
