The singer of BLACKPINK, Jennie, made an appearance on Lee Hyori‘s discussion show The Seasons on KBS 2TV. During the performance, Jennie discussed her own label, ODD ATELIER, in detail and shared the significance of the name. She said that in order to work “freely,” she founded her own agency.

Lee Hyori’s Jennie on The Seasons
According to Allkpop, Jennie stated during the broadcast, “This is the first time appearing on a KBS music program.” I went to meet Hyori’s sister, unnie. I appreciate you inviting me. This was Jennie’s first independent task following her declaration of independence.
What inspired Jennie to start ODD ATELIER?
Asked why she started ODD ATELIER, Jennie responded, “I will continue to do group activities (with YG Entertainment), but I wanted to do solo activities more freely, so I carefully established (my own agency).” This was in response to Lee Hyori’s question.
There is a group of individuals that have worked with me at my label for a very long period. She said, “I wanted to be free to participate in any events and promotions.
What is meant by ODD ATELIER?
“It contains the intention to do well even if my path is strange and different from others,” the solo singer said, explaining the purpose behind the agency’s name. Kindly provide a great deal of help going forward. YG Entertainment is a business she’s worked with since her trainee days, thus she learnt a lot from them.
