Prabhas’ new film ‘Salaar: Part One: Ceasefire‘ was released in theaters on December 22. Even after a day of release, Salaar’s madness has not slowed at the box office, and the seat booking figures on Bookshow have increased like skyrocket 925. 91 tickets are booked in 24 hours.

According to industry analyst Sacnilk, the movie made an estimated Rs 95 crore on its first day of release in India across all languages. On Friday, the movie’s total Telugu occupancy was 88.93%, avg. 11.65 crore.
With this, Prabhas’ movie has become the largest opener of the year, surpassing Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, Jawan, Pathaan, and Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. On its first day of release, Jawan made around Rs 89.5 crore, whereas Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan made Rs 57 crore.
Released barely one day before Salaar, Dunki only brought in Rs 30 crore on its first day of sales. On the other hand, Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, made around Rs 63.8 crore on its first day of sales.

Salaar, which takes place in the made-up city of Khansaar, centers on two friends who become fierce rivals: Vardha and Deva, portrayed by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi versions of the Prashanth Neel-directed movie have already been released.
