He has directed 169 films in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam during the course of his five-decade career. He is largely recognized as one of the most successful and popular performers in Indian movie history. He has a large worldwide fan base and a cult following for his uniquely styled lines and eccentricities in flicks.

The film is reportedly a stand-alone picture with no ties to the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, or LCU for short. The action-packed film will have music by Anirudh Ravichander.
