As is obligatory for all able-bodied male citizens in South Korea beyond a certain age, all members of BTS are now enlisting in the military and serving their sentences.
On the same day, RM and V had enrolled in the army.

Regarding their career, Kim Seokjin, the oldest member of BTS, is scheduled to release his album in 2024. Jin has already said that he will be the final member to release the entirety of his album. Before joining the army, Jin released his song “Astronaut,” which shot to the top of the charts all over the world.
Rapper J-hope, a member of BTS, was the first member of the group to release Jack in the Box, his solo album. J-hope was followed by RM, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook in their solo endeavors.
After serving their time in the military and returning safely, the members will start performing again in bands in 2025.
