Prashanth Neel expresses disappointment with the ‘Salaar’ ‘A’ certificate: Clarifies movie is not vulgar

The social media hype around Prabhas‘ next film, “Salaar: Part One: Ceasefire,” is quite intense. Aside from its conflict with Shah Rukh Khan‘s “Dunki,” the film’s intense action scenes have made it a topic of conversation. Director Prashanth Neel was let down by the film despite earning an ‘A’ rating from the Central Board of Film Certification. In a recent interview, Neel voiced his dissatisfaction with the outcome.

Fans are eager to watch their favorite stars on the big screen with just two days until the movie’s release. Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Prashanth Neel discussed the film’s ‘A’ certificate from the censor board in a recent interview with SS Rajamouli. “I was really disappointed,” the filmmaker declared. I am aware that none of the films I have created are obscene or excessively violent. All of the violence is required.”
The director of ‘KGF’ even mentioned that the certification board had requested specific changes be made to the movie, but he decided against doing so since it would have changed the way the audience would have experienced the picture.

Concerning “SALAAR: PART ONE – CEASEFIRE,”Along with Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu, Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire will star Prabhas. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur, the movie is directed by Prashanth Neel. The movie is scheduled to premiere in theaters on December 22, 2023. It will compete at the box office with Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan.
