Melodious maestro B. Ajaneesh Loknath harmonizes once more in the mystical Kantara A Legend Chapter-1, captivating audiences anew!

B. Ajaneesh Loknath makes a comeback with a soundtrack and background score in Kantara: Chapter 1 by Hombale Productions. He was also Kantara‘s music director before the making of this film.
Rishab Shetty is the writer and director of the recurring action thriller Kantara: Chapter 1. The events of the film took place during the Banavasi Kadambas’ rule. The star of the film is Rishab Shetty. This film will release in 2024.

B. Ajaneesh Loknath’s Music in Kantara Film:

B. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the movie’s soundtrack. 30 to 40 musicians were brought in to play with him. Mime Ramdas helped the crew, which focused mostly on folk music shown through Jaanapada songs performed on traditional instruments. Songs that are commonly sung by the general public during agricultural harvest and those that are well-liked by the local tribes were incorporated into the background score and album. According to the band Thaikkudam Bridge, who released Navarasam in 2017, the song “Varaha Roopam” was allegedly lifted verbatim from the song “Navarasam”. This tune evokes feelings of nostalgia.

Indian composer B. Ajaneesh Loknath was born on November 20, 1985, and he mostly composes music for Kannada films. For his contribution in the 2015 film Ulidavaru Kandanthe, he was awarded the Karnataka State Film Award for Outstanding Music Director. His partnerships with Anup Bhandari, Rishab Shetty, and Rakshit Shetty are well-known.

Rangitaranga’s background soundtrack and the music for Ulidavaru Kandanthe, Kirik Party, and Avane Srimannarayana were all created by Ajaneesh Loknath. In addition to singing for Kirik Party, Ishtakamya, and Ulidavaru Kandanthe, he has also sung songs for his own films. Among the numerous people for whom he has worked on films are Ramesh Aravind, Dr. Shivrajkumar, Golden Star Ganesh, Bharathiraja, Nivin Pauly, Udhayanidhi Stalin, and Duniya Vijay.

In the 2015 Radio Mirchi Music Awards South, he was given eight categories for his film Ulidavaru Kandanthe. Although it made the Oscar shortlist, his background score for the movie Rangitaranga did not receive a nomination. He has so far contributed to almost 25 multilingual motion pictures. Recently, on November 17, 2023, his forthcoming pan-Indian film Mangalavaaram was also released.
