Finally, Mohanlal‘s Malaikottai Vaaliban teaser was released on YouTube. Fans are very excited after seeing this teaser. The teaser opens with Mohanlal’s Tamil monologue, in which he states, “Sight is only truth. All unsee is a lie. Everything you have known yet is bluff. That which shall unfold now is the truth.” Mohanlal swings his scarf to make a wallpaper-worthy position while screaming the final portion of the sentence, and that’s all we get from the teaser.
If the teaser must be decoded, a calculated estimate would imply that Mohanlal would be playing a magician or illusionist in Malaikottai Vaaliban. However, with director Lijo Jose Pellissery, you never know. To see and believe the truth, one must wait until January 25, 2024.

Malaikottai Vaaliban is produced by John & Mary Creative, Century Films, and Maxlab & Saregama and written by P S Rafeeque, who has previously collaborated with Lijo on films such as Nayakan and Amen. “For me, the process of finalising a theme doesn’t originate from the pressure to create the next big hit; it’s a natural progression,” Lijo said of the film. Malaikottai Vaaliban’s primary concept germinated within me a few years ago and subsequently evolved into a thorough storyline. Rafeeq, as a writer, enlarged that universe, and it was only then that we realized Lalettan (Mohanlal) was the ideal fit for that part.”
Malaikottai Vaaliban also stars Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Danish Sait, Manoj Moses, Katha Nandi, and Manikandan Achari, with cinematography by Madhu Neelakandan and music by Prashanth Pillai.
