Netflix released the Leo trailer on their YouTube channel. The Thalapathy Vijay-directed film brought in than Rs 600 crore worldwide. This week marks the OTT debut for the Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed movie.
On November 24, 2023, Netflix will launch the much-anticipated Indian debut of the Tamil film Leo, which stars Thalapathy Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Madonna Sebastian, Gautham Menon, and Priya Anand. The movie is slated to be released worldwide on November 28, 2023, in the languages of Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Vijay also spoke to his ecstatic supporters, who were overjoyed with “Leo’s” triumph.
Lokesh Kanagaraj’s LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe) series inspired Leo, which is based on A History of Violence, a 2005 Hollywood film based on the 1997 graphic novel of the same title. This film takes place right after the events of the first LCU film, Kaithi (2019), and marks the significant transition of actor George Maryan from his role as Napoleon in that universe to Leo.

Under the Seven Screen Studio label, SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy are producing the movie. Anirudh Ravichander created the film’s music, which is the third project he and Lokesh Kanagaraj have worked on together following Master and Vikram.
