On Saturday, the first glimpse of actor Jitendra Kumar as Abhishek Tripathi from Panchayat Season 3 on Amazon Prime Video was made public. The OTT behemoth used social media to debut the first glimpse of the program. The actor, who portrays the Panchayat Secretary in the drama, is seen in the picture riding a motorcycle while carrying baggage. It’s unclear right now if he intends to leave the Phulera community.

The second image in the tweet has several characters from the show seated on a bench, including Durgesh Kumar’s Banrakas, Ashok Pathak’s Vinod, and Bulloo Kumar’s Madhav. “Thokar lagti hai to dard hota hai, tabhi manushya seekh pata hai,” reads the wall behind them. “We know the wait is unbearable, so we got you a lil something from the sets!” was the caption posted alongside the images on Prime Video’s official Instagram account. Season 3 of #PanchayatOnPrime. The release date of the show has not yet been announced by the creators.
Neena Gupta, who portrays Manju Devi in the show, shared a video from her series finale celebration in November. She appeared in the video alongside her on-screen spouse, seasoned actor Raghubir Yadav. “Wrap up the third season of Panchayat!” Neena captioned it.
At the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), which took place recently, TVF’s Panchayat, in its second season, won the Best Web Series (OTT) Award. Panchayat 2 was the inaugural series to win the category, which was first presented at the festival.
The show follows the path of an engineering graduate who, after being denied employment opportunities, ends up working as a panchayat secretary in the made-up hamlet of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh.
During the Covid shutdown, the first season of the show debuted on Prime Video in April 2020 and was met with instant praise.
