Tuesday marked the release of the first trailer for “Grand Theft Auto 6,” the most recent game in the main Grand Theft Auto series, from Rockstar Games. GTA 6, described as the largest action-adventure game of the next year, is the successor to 2013’s mega-hit GTA V, which became the second best-selling video game of all time, behind Minecraft.
The series takes place in a fictitious Miami called Vice City, and the trailer highlights Lucia, a female lead who seems to go on a crime rampage with her companion. Tom Petty’s “Long is a Long Road” is the song featured in the trailer; however, Rockstar Games has not disclosed the premise or storyline.
Since Grand Theft Auto 5 was launched ten years ago by Rockstar Games, fans have been impatiently expecting a follow-up. Thereafter, 185 million copies of that game were sold.

Early in 2022, Rockstar Games made it known that it was developing Grand Theft Auto 6. The company’s 25th anniversary is being celebrated with the release of the GTA 6 trailer.
Take-Two announced that the new Grand Theft Auto 6 game would be available on Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. As the developer did not specify any other platforms, it seems likely that GTA 6 will not be available on PC, at least not when it launches.
