This is the list of Tamil movies that have been chosen to participate in the 21st edition of the Chennai International Film Festival, or CIFF, which takes place in December each year.
The top international films in various languages will be screened during the Chennai International Film Festival. As such, the 21st CIFF, taking place from December 14 to 21, this year, will feature 126 films from 57 different nations. At the festival’s inauguration, eight Iranian films and five Korean films will be exhibited in addition to this year’s Cannes Award-winning movie, “Anatomy of a Fall.” The competition is open to Tamil films that were censored between October 16, 2022, and October 15, 2023.

have been chosen to be screened at the Chennai International Film Festival. Without a doubt, it will be a star-studded evening. It’s interesting to note that directors anticipate submitting a few of the unpublished movies for special screenings.
‘Gargi’, ‘Maamanithan’, ‘Iravin Nizhal’, ‘Kasada Thapara’, ‘Kida’, ‘Beginning’, ‘Nathchathiram Nagargirathu’, and ‘Aadhar’ are the Tamil films that took home awards at the 20th Chennai International Film Festival in their categories.
