Since November 2023, the pair has been hinting to a song collaboration. When V began his military training on December 11, UMI shared an Instagram story of the K-pop idol in the studio performing their song. The American singer announced the cooperation while wishing V a successful military career. Then she said, “I promise to take care of our song and share your message while you are away.”
