Unveiling Mammootty’s Unprecedented Avatar in Bramayugam

Mammootty has launched a new poster from his next flick, Bramayugam, portraying him in a never-before-seen avatar, heightening the hype around the film.

After captivating viewers with his engaging film selections and spectacular performances in 2023, Malayalam megastar Mammootty is primed to rule the scene for another year in 2024.

Mammootty has launched a new poster from his next flick, Bramayugam, portraying him in a never-before-seen avatar, heightening the hype around the film. The latest look poster, like the first one released a few months ago, has a monochrome motif but provides a fresh viewpoint on the actor’s character.

Look out for Bramayugam’s new poster:

Mammootty’s persona is seen in the new billboard wearing a crown evocative of those worn by practitioners of the ancient folk ceremonial art form of Theyyam, replete with attached horns and makeup implying that he surpasses regular human life.

Bramayugam, directed by Rahul Sadasivan, who rose to prominence with his debut film Bhoothakaalam, is a full-fledged horror thriller set in Kerala’s dark ages. The film’s slogan, “the age of madness,” adds to the frightening idea.

Mammootty sent his New Year’s greetings to all of his followers by sharing the latest poster. Bramayugam, co-produced by Night Shift Studios and YNot Studios, also stars Arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan, and Amalda Liz, with Shehnad Jalal as director of photography, Shafique Mohammed Ali as editor, and Christo Xavier as music composer.

Rahul expressed his joy at the start of the film’s production, which ended in October, saying, “I am elated to be living the dream of directing the stalwart Mammookka.” Bramayugam is a rooted narrative set in Kerala’s dark ages, and I am grateful for the producers’ support in stretching the boundaries of creating this into an immersive cinematic experience. I think it would be a pleasure for Mammookka fans and genre aficionados all across the world.”

While there are unsubstantiated speculations that the film would be released in February, the specific date remains unknown. Aside from its native Malayalam form, the film will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
