The first track from her upcoming movie, “Annapoorani”: The Goddess of Food, was released on her 39th birthday by the film’s makers. The song “Ulagai Vella Pogiraal” celebrates women’s tenacity and asserts that they are strong enough to face the entire world.

The character of Nayanthara is apparently discussed in the song, as she not only has dreams but also goes after them, even if it means battling several people who try to discourage her along the way. Thaman S is the musician for the music, while Harini performed the vocals for the song. Similarly, the song appears to make some reference to the movie’s premise.

Nayanthara is making her 75th film in the film industry with Annapoorani. The ensemble cast of Nilesh Krishna’s film features Jai, Karthik Kumar, Sathyaraj, Redin Kingsley, KS Ravikumar, and many more.

On October 24, the film’s makers released a teaser. The story of a typical Brahmin family is told in the film, which appears to be situated around Srirangam, close to Trichy. But when Poorani, Nayanthara’s character, expresses a desire to learn more about non-vegetarian cuisine, things take a different turn.

Zee Studios, working with Naad Studios and Trident Arts, provided the financial backing for the movie. Thaman S. wrote the soundtrack. Sathyan Sooryan, who is well-known for movies like Master and Kaithi, is in charge of the film’s camera, while Praveen Antony is in charge of editing. On December 1st of this year, the movie is scheduled to premiere on large screens.

Along with Annapoorani: The Goddess of Food, Nayanthara is upcoming in two other movies. Two films that include the Bigil woman in the lead role are Test (starring Jayam Ravi, Meera Jasmine, and Siddharth) and Mannangatti Since 1960 (starring Yogi Babu).
